The journeys

Each one drawn from an ancient text, with its own yantra and its own rhythm of light.

Four forms

Every yantra drawn for the path uses four forms, in a plain hand: no figure, no mantra, only geometry.

Bindu

The point. In the Śrī Cakra it sits at the exact centre of the circle.

Trikoṇa

The triangle. Pointing down it is power; pointing up, fire.

Padma

The lotus: eight petals within sixteen, between three circles.

Bhūpura

The earth enclosure: three squares, a gate on each side.

Painting, gently moving: the Nidrā journey’s yantra in light

From the yoga nidrā tradition

Nidrā

The journey of aware rest

Rest that stays awake. Its yantra is a field of indigo and violet waves around a crescent of pearl light, and the journey is made for letting go.

Painting, gently moving: the Śūnya journey’s yantra in light

From the Vijñāna Bhairava’s contemplations of emptiness

Śūnya

The journey into open space

Spacious, and the least decorated of the three. Its yantra is rings of silver-blue opening into luminous emptiness.

Drawing, gently moving: the Śrī Cakra in rose, saffron and gold, drawn to its coordinates

From the Yoginīhṛdaya

Śrī

The journey to the centre

The Śrī Cakra itself: nine triangles inside two rings of lotus, around a single point. It walks the map from the gate inward. Its colours are rose, saffron and gold. The Path
